Description:

This programming cable is designed for diagnosing CURTIS 1229 permanent magnet drive DC motor speed controllers through a CURTIS programmer. It works with different CURTIS 1229 controller models:

• 1229-3101
• 1229-3105
• Other 1229 controllers

Wiring of Cable

By using this programming cable, for diagnosing and programming a CURTIS 1229 permanent magnet drive DC motor controller, you need to connect:

• the main terminal (busbar) "B-" of controller to the DC power source negative (B-) pole
• the AMP 23-Pin connector to its mating part on controller
  • the programmer 4-Pin MOLEX connector to its mating part of the programming cable
  • the B+ terminal of 23-Pin connector (extended red wire with 2-Pin connector) to the DC source positive (B+) pole

The 2-Pin connector is used for connecting the DC source, red wire for "B+" and black wire for "B-".
