CURTIS DC SepEx Motor Speed ControllerModel 1266R-5351, 36-48V / 350A, golf cart traction motor controllerOverview: CURTIS 1266 controllers are separately excited motor speed controllers designed for use in a variety of transport vehicles. These programmable controllers are simple to install, efficient, and cost effective. Typical applications include golf carts and small utility vehicles. The 1266 controller offers smooth, silent, cost effective control of motor speed and torque. The speed sensor input allows superior closed-loop control for regulating vehicle speed. Unique braking parameters allow simple, intuitive deceleration tuning. A full-bridge field winding control stage is combined with a half-bridge armature power stage to provide solid state motor reversing and regenerative braking power without additional relays or contactors. Not like the CURTIS 1266A controllers (for example 1266A-5201), 1266R-5351 does not offer the "walkaway" feature. For the buyer without CONTROLLER APPLYING EXPERIENCE, please consult your cart/motor dealer and read carefully the 1266 Controller Manual (PDF format) and 1266 Controller Datasheet (PDF format) before making the purchase. When use CURTIS programming devices 1313-4331 Handheld Programmer or 1314 PC Programming Station, for activating the controller 1266R-5351, the J1-8 and J1-16 terminals of controller 16-Pin Molex connector should be connected to "B+" of DC power source (minimum 16.8V, maximum vehicle system voltage); "B-" busbar should be connected to "B-" of DC power source (minimum 16.8V, maximum vehicle system voltage).
