Trombetta PowerSeal 36V DC Contactor

Overview

The TROMBETTA 684-3651 contactor is designed for direct current loads, particularly for motors on small electric vehicles such as light industrial trucks, electric forklift, electric pallet stacker, golf cart, etc. For automotive, the typical application of TROMBETTA 684-3651 is used as hydraulic pump (oil pump) driving motor DC relay and EPS motor ON / OFF switch.

TROMBETTA has double breaking main contacts with silver alloy contact tips, which are weld resistant, hard wearing and have excellent conductivity.

TROMBETTA PowerSeal 684-3651 are contactors of unicoil winding, with flat type "L" shape bracket. We supply also similar contactor with curved "L" shape bracket, model 684-1261-212 (12V) / 684-2461-212 (24V) / 684-4861-212 (48V).

Mounting instructions (when used as engine starter motor DC relay, 2 mounting holes may have already been prepared on the motor body):

1. Select a desired mounting location.
2. Using the contactor as a template, mark the centers of the mounting holes.
3. Using a 1/4" drill bit, drill the holes marked in the previous step.
4. Mount the contact using 1/4" bolts and nuts.
5. Wire the relay according to the wiring diagram.
